Mike Turner's Railway Photograph Album
In June 2013, we took Clan Line to Outokumpu's steelworks, near Sheffield, for three days, to celebrate the centenary of stainless steel. We were there to haul demonstration freight trains, weighing about four hundred tons, up a one in ninety climb, for local dignitries, school children, and staff. We were made very welcome, by Outokumpu and DBS. These are some of the photographs, and a video, that I took of the event. Added 30th July 2013
In October 2009, we took Clan Line to Ropley, to make use of the Mid Hants' wheel drop, so that we could make some repairs to the bogey. These are some of the photographs that I took on this occasion. Added 14th February 2010
On Sunday 1st June 2008, I visited the delightful Mid Suffolk Light Railway, at Brockford. It was a very friendly and relaxed railway, and I shall go again. These are the photographs that I took, all with permission. Added 2nd June 2008
